Our catering students would like to invite members of the public to ‘Come Dine with Us’ from 5 – 9pm on Thursday 5th March, at Time Out Café Bar (Greenbank Sports Academy).
The menu for this month’s event includes tasty treats such as Baileys Cheesecake and Warm Chocolate Fudge cake, along with savoury main courses such as slow cooked Chicago Beef with a selection of different starters. Two courses cost £7.50, and three courses are £9.50. There will be a vegetarian dish on offer.
Under the careful watch of catering tutor Danny Kay, the students will be serving customers with high quality, expertly cooked dishes. Danny says ‘Come Dine with Us’ will “give students a real taste of responsibility, without throwing them in at the deep end. It’s important to teach vocational courses in a practical setting.”
Greenbank’s students have been working hard throughout the year to put together professional meal plans to restaurant standard.
Eager to test their skills and gain industry experience, they need members of the public to support the evening.
