Course content

Learners on this course are expected to develop dressmaking and fitting skills and produce garments using commercial patterns.

Who is the course for?

This course is for learners with a good sound knowledge of dressmaking and who wish to improve their sewing and fitting skills.

Entry requirements

Must be able to use sewing equipment safely and effectively.

Assessment Method

Informal written and verbal feedback will be given throughout the duration of the course.

Future opportunities / career options

Progression to a Basic Outerwear course in the next academic year.

Wednesday 9am – 12 noon starting Wednesday 11 April 2018 (13 weeks)

How much does the course cost?

£39 – See Money Matters for fee exemptions.

A registration and material fee of £20 is also payable by everyone.

Fees must be paid on time. Failure to pay on time will result in a £10 late payment charge.
