Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Services

Course content

Units have different credit values and to achieve the Award learners must gain a total of 28 credits.

Mandatory units

  • Communicate using customer service language
  • Follow the rules to deliver customer service

Worth 8 credits.

Optional units

  • Maintain a positive and customer-friendly attitude
  • Do your job in a customer friendly way
  • Recognise and deal with customer queries, requests and problems
  • Deal with customers face to face

20 credits must be achieved

Who is the course for?

The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Services qualification is aimed at anyone progressing from the Level 1 qualification or someone looking to pursue a career dealing with customers.

Entry requirements

Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 1 or above.

Future opportunities / career options

On completion of this course learners will gain a Level 2 Certificate in Customer Services. Progression is to Level 3 Diploma in Customer Services or to find employment within the customer service industry.

When the course is run?

Daytime, 1 and a half days per week (including work placement is possible).

How much does it cost?

Learners under the age of 18 are exempt from paying course fees.
For learners aged 18 plus, the cost of the course is £640. However, there are some exemptions. Please visit the Money Matters page for further details.
