Felt Making for Beginners
Course content
Introduction to basic felt making materials and techniques. Learners will learn how to make flat and 3D felted pieces using colour for decoration; flowers, beads and a small felted purse.
Who is the course for?
For learners who would like to learn a new handicraft, which is very creative and relaxing.

Non- accredited – no formal assessment
Entry requirements
Suitable for all levels, no previous experience necessary.
Future opportunities / career options
Progression to Simple felted accessories.
When the course is run?
Daytime, 3 hours per week, Autumn term 2011
How much does it cost?
Learners under the age of 18 are exempt from paying course fees.
For learners aged 18 plus, the cost of the course is £60 (including registration fee) plus £10 towards materials. However, there are some exemptions. Please visit the Money Matters page for further details.
The registration fee of £10 is still applicable to learners eligible for course fee exemptions.
