Course content

Optional units

Learners must achieve a minimum of 38 credits achieved by completion of some of the following units (each is worth a varying number of credits)

  • Improving productivity using IT

  • Wordprocessing
  • Database
  • Spreadsheet
  • Powerpoint
  • Imaging software
  • Multi media software
  • Desktop publishing
  • IT software fundamentals
  • Email

Who is the course for?

Learners who want to demonstrate to employers they have achieved a recognised standard in IT. Learners interested in developing IT skills for personal use.

Observation, Witness testimonies, Verbal and written questioning, Worksheets, assignments, Exam, Placement diary (if applicable

Entry requirements

Functional Skills in English, Maths and IT at Level 1 or above. IT assessment.
