Course content

Introduction to more advanced knitting techniques: domino knitting, textured knitting, knitted leaves and flowers, freeform knitting, ruffles & fringes. Students will produce a collection of small samples for various knitting techniques.

Who is the course for?

For learners who have completed the Introduction to basic creative knitting course and would like to experiment with further techniques. The course is also open to those who can knit with confidence.

Assessment method

Non- accredited – no formal assessment

Entry requirements

Knowledge of casting on, knit & purl, increasing & decreasing and ribbing is essential.

Progression to Creative Knitted Accessories.
