Course content

Learners sample intermediate construction and decorative techniques and use these to create a range of household accessories including cushion covers, table runners and placemats.

Who is the course for?

For learners who have a good working knowledge of a sewing machine – an ideal progression route for those who have completed the “Simple Household Accessories” course.

Non accredited – no formal assessment

Entry requirements

Good safe working knowledge of a sewing machine and construction techniques.

Future opportunities / career options

Progression to Advanced Soft Furnishings courses.
