Creative Gift Making Using a Sewing Machine
Course content
Learners will be shown simple ways of making a range of creative items suitable for original gifts including – cosmetic purses, bags, aprons, tea cosies and cushion covers. Seasonal gifts suitable for Christmas, Eid, Hanukkah or Diwali will also be optional.
Who is the course for?
Those with a basic working knowledge of the use of a sewing machine. An ideal progression for those who have completed an ‘Introduction to the Sewing Machine’ course.
Assessment method
No formal assessment.
Entry requirements
A basic safe working knowledge of the sewing machine.
Future opportunities / career options
Progression to ‘Simple Household Accessories’ or ‘Decorative Fashion Accessories’.
