Course Content

Mandatory units:

• How what you wear has an impact on the environment, the people who produce it and more.
• Weaving, natural dyeing and printing
• Sourcing and using organic and ethical fabrics
• Designing, pattern cutting and constructing your own garment
• Showcasing your garment

Who is the course for?

Adults aged 16 and above.

This short course is suitable for anybody with an interest in fashion who wants to learn more about some of the ethical issues surrounding the industry in a fun and creative way.

Assessment method

Non- accredited – no formal assessment.

Entry requirements

No previous sewing experience needed – experienced staff will be on hand to help anybody who needs it.
