Make a Machine Embroidered Wall Hanging
Course content
Learners choose a theme of personal interest, conduct research and design and create a wall hanging using a combination of advanced machine embroidery techniques and a range of materials.
Who is the course for?
Learners with a good working knowledge of a range of machine embroidery techniques who want to make a creative item for the home. An ideal progression for those who have completed “Sampling Machine Embroidery Techniques”.

Non accredited – no formal assessment
Entry requirements
Must have a good safe working knowledge of machine embroidery techniques.
Future opportunities / career options
Self-employment, undertaking commissions, making and selling to order.
When the course is run?
Daytime, 3 hours per week, Summer term 2012
How much does it cost?
Learners under the age of 18 are exempt from paying course fees.
For learners aged 18 plus, the cost of the course is £60 (including registration fee) plus £10 towards materials. However, there are some exemptions. Please visit the Money Matters page for further details.
The registration fee of £10 is still applicable to learners eligible for course fee exemptions.
