• Learn the basics of using Microsoft Moviemaker to edit a short video clip (software that comes free with every Windows computer)
• Edit: Learn how to load a video, shorten a video, and add special effects and titles to a video
• Sound: Add sound to a short video clip
• Saving your work: Saving you clip for viewing over the internet

What is YouTube:

YouTube is a video-sharing website on which users can upload, share, and view videos

• Viewing Movies on YouTube: Searching for movies and viewing them at the best quality
• YouTube: Sign up for a free account
• My movie on YouTube: Upload your first video clip onto YouTube

Who is the course for?

Anyone interested in editing video clips and uploading them to YouTube.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements. You will need to be able to use the mouse, keyboard and the internet and you will need an email address.

4 sessions: Mon 21, Tue 22, Mon 28 and Tue 29 May – 9am-12 noon
