All young people at the College follow a Study Programme – a personalised learning programme which supports your development and helps you to achieve your goals for work and life.
A limited number of places are also available on courses for young people under the age of 16, as an alternative to school. This must be with the approval of the young person’s school (or LEA) and parent or guardian.
Your study programme will consist of a vocational study area, English & Maths, Employability & Work Experience and Enrichment.

If you do not already have GCSE A*-C in English or Maths, you will need to continue lessons. Your level will be assessed before you join us and you will be put in to a class that’s right for you. Classes available include Everyday English and Maths, Functional Skills and GCSE.
If you are studying at Entry 3 or above, you will usually complete an employability qualification too. You will also be given the opportunity to complete a relevant work experience placement. The work placement will last for a minimum of six weeks and meet your needs and those of your employer.
You will be offered a termly choice of activities, which could include sport, art, job search or music.
