There is an increasing demand for care workers to help people undertake their daily activities. In response to the demand, we have developed a new Health & Social Care department to help train people who wish to enter this growing sector.

Adult Community Learning Project

Thanks to funding from Liverpool City Council’s Adult Learning Service and Skills Funding Agency we have been able to offer additional courses including IT, Gardening, Photography and Money Matters for disabled people, over the summer months.

Alt Bridge Project – Supporting people aged 16+ with Employability

Greenbank College delivers education opportunities within the local community and over the summer was successful in securing a contract with Knowsley Borough Council to offer employability training to post 16 students at Alt Bridge Secondary Support Centre.
