Collaborating Partners

Greenbank College collaborates with various agencies, partners and employers to ensure that we deliver high-quality careers education, life skills and employability to our learners:

  • Liverpool City Region Careers Hub: support our Careers & Employability Team with training, workshops and allow us to participate in a Community of Practice with other training providers and colleges of further education so that we can share best practices and build partnerships collectively.
  • Employers: We work with numerous employers to provide our learners with meaningful encounters with them and their employees to support our achivement of Gatsby Benchmark 5 through immersive industry visits or WOW Days, Meet the Professional talks and attendance at our annual careers event. In addition, we are constantly developing our network of host employers to offer experiences of the workplace to our learners to support our achievement of Gatsby Benchmark 6. Some of our amazing partners are: Radisson Blu Hotel, The Bagelry, Age UK, Bootle Bucks FC, Cutting Corners Hair Salon, Everton in the Community, Salon HQ, Matalan, Knowsley Safari Park, Our House Community and Greenbank Sports Academy.
  • Education Providers: We work with a range of different education providers and alternative provisions so that our learners can understand the full range of learning opportunities that are available to them and start planning the next stages of their careers, in line with Gatsby Benchmark 7. These interventions can range from small group visits to FE college departments and representatives from FE and HE attending our annual career event, to immersive taster days at local universities to raise our learner’s aspirations. Some of these providers are City of Liverpool College, Strawberry Field, Knowlsey Community College, Riverside College, SWRAC, Daisy UK, Your Voice Yoir Choice, Liverpool John Moore’s University and Liverpool Hope University.
  • DFN Project Search and HFT: support our Supported Internship Employability Team to deliver the supported internship programme within LUHFT and Liverpool City Council.
  • LUHFT: the Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust is one of our supported internship host employers and has provided job rotations for our interns in Alder Hey Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, and Fazakerly Hospital.
  • Liverpool City Council: is one of our supported internship host employers and has provided job rotations for our interns across numerous departments and services, including: Housing, Culture, Tourism, Maintenance, Legal, Sport & Leisure, and Primary Education.
  • Matrix: the Matrix standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG). Either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering. It helps providers to improve their services by benchmarking against best practice and it offers accreditation to those that meet the full standard. We are proud to be Matrix accredited and we continue to audit our practices with Matrix periodically to ensure  the quality of our IAG service.

To all of our partners, thank you!
