Catering student secures work at Delifonseca

Congratulations to Anthony Cardwell, a level 2 Professional Cookery student at Greenbank College, who now has a full time job at Liverpool based Delifonseca; The Good Food Guide’s North West Regional Restaurant of the Year in 2013 and voted as one the top 50 delis in the country.
Catering tutor Rob Swinden said “Since joining us in September, Anthony has demonstrated commitment to achieving his qualification and securing a job in the industry – he is great role model for other students. His success is very well deserved – he is passionate about food and Delifonseca is a fabulous place to learn the trade and become a great chef. I wish him every success in his future career and it’s been a privilege to help him to find work.”
Delifonseca Chef Martin Cooper and Proprietor Candice Fonseca described Anthony as “a breath of fresh air”.
