Celebrating student achievement in 2012-13

Greenbank College, which provides training and employment opportunities for disabled people and the local community, held its annual Student Awards on Thursday 18 July 2013, celebrating achievement during the academic year.
The Right Worshipful, Lord Mayor of Liverpool Councillor Gary Millar and the Young Lord Mayor Antonia Hamer, together with Councillor James Roberts and Simon Waring from Skills Funding Agency were in attendance to present the students with their awards.
The departmental winners for 2012/13 were:
David Colohan – Business and Administration / Customer Service
Anthony Green – Catering
Shaun Mortimer – Employability
Conor Vaughan – Functional Skills, English
Jordan Fitzgerald – Functional Skills, Maths
Brenda Riley – Fashion & Textiles
Emily Sullivan – Hairdressing
Stephen Jones – IT
Jordan Ashton – Sport
Stephen Jones was selected as the overall Student of the Year 2013
Education & Curriculum Manager, Anne Kinsella said ¬Å“It’s great to see that so many students have developed confidence, interpersonal and workplace skills over the past academic year¬Â.
