Christmas Hair Competition

Level 1 students in our hairdressing department were feeling festive as they created Christmas themed hairstyles for a competition organised by their tutor.
Beverley Mellor set them the challenge to be as creative and festive as possible using techniques such as wanding, plaiting and back-combing, which are taught as part of their course.
Beverley said “I am really impressed with what the students have achieved. They only had two hours to create their style on either models, or block heads and the results are fantastic”.
The creations were judged by Education and Curriculum Manager Anne Kinsella, who awarded first prize to Shirin Etemadian-Fard. The runners up were Raphina Louis and Lee-Ann Excell. Thanks and congratulations to all those involved.
