Our College was inspected from 15th to 19th January 2018 and judged to be “Good” in all inspection areas.
Key findings summarised in the report included:
- “Tutors use a variety of stimulating, creative and interesting activities in lessons that enthuse and motivate students, and meet their diverse needs.”
- “Support for students with high needs helps them to learn independently, to make their own decisions and to work with decreasing levels of support over time.”
- “Students are very well behaved, show an awareness and respect for others and develop highly effective independence, social and communication skills”
Education and Curriculum Manager Anne Kinsella said:
“We’re delighted with the outcome of our latest inspection, which we feel reflects what is on offer at Greenbank College and the commitment of our staff, to offer the best for our students.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved with the inspection process, for their hard work and dedication both during Ofsted and throughout the year.”
Chief Executive Officer, Mary Beaumont added:
“The latest Ofsted Report effectively summarises what we offer at Greenbank College for disabled young people and the local community.
I am proud of the service that we provide and congratulate the staff, volunteers and trustees on an excellent report.”
