Congratulations to our ‘Support for Learning and Work Team’ who successfully retained Matrix accreditation for the service that it provides for students at the College.

The Assessor’s report concluded that:

“The Support for Learning and Work area provides an inclusive and proactive service which offers students and potential students the information they need to fully understand the options available to them and to make informed decisions. The holistic nature of support across the college means that students are able to seek help with any aspects of their learning or personal life and they will be directed to the most appropriate person. There are meaningful employment experiences which are managed to ensure that they are fir for purpose and the emphasis for all students is on progression.”

Guidance and Recruitment Coordinator Alison Stoddart commented:

“It’s really important to everyone in the team to offer the best service that we can for College students.

Matrix accreditation encourages everyone in the team to evaluate the service that they provide and continuously strive to improve it. It’s great news that the assessor recognised the quality of the service on offer.”
