Assessment of the course will be in the form of exams at the end of the course.

  • Students achieving grade D / 3 in a GCSE for English language
  • Students who have achieved a L2 Functional Skills English qualification
  • Adults aged 19+

Progression

This is regarded as an important qualification by employers and as a minimum standard for entry onto higher level courses at other colleges.

Study Programme

If you are aged 16 – 18 or up to 24 who declare a disability and have an EHC Plan this course will form part of your study programme. The programme includes a vocational study area, English and maths qualifications, employability skills, a work placement and other personal development and enrichment opportunities.

Course Fees

English qualifications are free for everyone up to Level 2.
