Salon HQ

Salon HQ offers clients a range of hairdressing services including cutting, blow drying, and colouring; all carried out in an up-to-date salon. The salon is fully wheelchair accessible and set in the grounds of Greenbank College.

The services are offered by Greenbank College’s Hairdressing students, under the close supervision of experienced tutors Katherine Pulman and Beverley Mellor who ensure that clients receive a quality, affordable service.

Hairdressing Tutor

Beverley has 25 years of experience in hairdressing, barbering and beauty therapy.
She has been teaching across all levels of hairdressing from Entry 3, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 for 10 years at Knowsley Community College.

Katharine Pulman

Hairdressing Tutor

Katherine has worked in hairdressing and barbering for 12 years and has been teaching for the past 4.
As well as teaching, Katherine also helps out in a friends’ salon to keep as up to date as possible with industry trends.
“It is my job to ensure that Level 2 learners provide customers with a professional and enjoyable service. It’s great to have a chance to teach the next generation of hairdressers.”
