Course content
The Level 2 IT qualification will give you the fundamental skills and knowledge required to work in an IT based role. The flexible Level 2 course is available at certificate level, studied over 1 year, or the diploma, which is studied over 2 years.
During your course you will be assessed to check on your progress. This will include producing a work portfolio showing the skills you have learnt. Skills will also be developed by taking on a work placement.

Entry requirements
- Level 1 ITQ Award or Certificate or good computer knowledge.
- Gained or be working towards recognised qualifications in English and maths at Level 1.

Course Fees
Courses are free for all students aged 16 – 18 (or up to 24 if you declare a disability and have an Education, Health & Care Plan).
