End of year celebrations

Greenbank College has been celebrating the end of another academic year this week. We weren’t able to have the usual big get together, however, the staff ensured that students still had an enjoyable time and a good send-off for their summer break.
The celebrations took place over several days with a full programme of classroom-based activities for students to take part in. Classes were split into teams and participated in a variety of quizzes over Google Classroom such as Name that Tune and the Big Greenbank Quiz with the winning the teams getting to choose a prize. There was also a bit of singing and dancing and the odd tasty treat too!
Student Awards
At the end of the event, awards were given out to the students who had the Most Positive Attitude during the year. We had lots of nominations for the award from staff and the judges found it really hard to choose the winners.
Congratulations to all of our award winners and nominees. Here’s just a few of them:
We’re so proud of all our students this year as they have all worked especially hard whilst adapting to changes in the ways they study. Some students will be moving on this year to supported internships, paid employment or further study elsewhere and we wish each and every one of them huge success. We also look forward to seeing those who are returning in September.
Have a great summer everyone!
