Eye Music Workshops

Students from across the College were given the opportunity to try something different at the end of the academic year – electronic music workshops.
Led by David Stevens, an independent media production professional, who has been making music accessible to disabled people for many years, the theme of the workshops was all about having a go and having fun.
In his time at the College, David will also be working with a group of disabled students to compose and perform a piece of music at the Liverpool International Music Festival on 22 July 2017.
David said:
“I’ve spent many years using technology, including touch boards and movement sensors to make music accessible for disabled people.
I’ve really enjoyed working with the groups at Greenbank College and look forward to performing with some of them at the prestigious Liverpool Music Festival.”
