Greenbank College Hairdressing students create a spectacular show

Hairdressing student with model showing his workNVQ Level 1 and 2 Hairdressing students from Salon HQ, Greenbank College, supported by tutors Carol Hasaballa and Katherine Pulman and working in partnership with The Black-E and LIPA, presented a spectacular Hair Show on Wednesday 10 July.

The audience were wowed by spectacular hair styles, created by the students based on an Alice in Wonderland / Fantasy theme. The models were dressed in fabulous costumes loaned from LIPA and accompanied by acrobats from The Black-E.

This was the first ever hair show by the College, which opened Salon HQ in 2011.

Tutor Carol Hasaballa said of the show ‘The show has provided a fantastic opportunity for Salon HQ students to demonstrate the skills that they have developed on the course and be as outrageous as possible. Everyone loved it!’

Greenbank College has places available for hairdressing for the following courses starting in September:
