It’s all systems go with Multimedia Reporting!

In their latest workshop, the Pass It On Community Reporters have been getting to grips with producing multimedia reports. With Purple Day for Epilepsy fast approaching (it happens on the 26th March this year, in case you didn’t know), the reporters have been doing their bit to raise awareness about epilepsy and reduce the stigma that surrounds it by producing a special community report on the topic.
Working in small teams, the reporters have been finding out what it is like to live with epilepsy, researching what Purple Day is and exploring First Aid. Using the digital skills they have developed on the course, the team have started to produce a video interview with a Greenbank College student who has epilepsy, write a report on Purple Day and its aims and also produce an audio report on what to do if someone has a seizure. The reporters will be finishing these over the next couple of weeks and publishing them for the big day itself on the 26th March! Check back later in the month, for this special, multimedia report.
