We  held a successful progression event for our students on Wednesday 4 March as part of National Careers Week.

The event was attended by over 30 exhibitors offering information and advice about what opportunities are available to them once they leave college. This included employers, apprenticeships, supported internships and volunteering opportunities. Also in attendance were organisations that are able to offer advice, help and support to students.

Some of the comments from students included:

“It was a helpful event at helping me make a decision on what I wanted to do after leaving Greenbank.”

“I enjoyed looking around and seeing what other options I have.”

The event was part of a wider careers programme delivered to students by Greenbank College throughout the academic year. This also includes offering meaningful and positive interactions with employers through work placements, employer talks, external career fairs and employer visits.

If you are an employer and want to partner with Greenbank College to help train and guide your future workforce, please contact our Work Placement Officer, Jan Edmond  jan.edmond@greenbank.org.uk
