As part of enrichment, some of our students had the chance to build their personal skills at Merseyside Youth Challenge Trust. Activities they took part in included archery, abseiling, Night Line in which the students were blindfolded and had to work together to get round the course, Rescue Fido which consists of a variety of challenges, Mind-field where students had to find a safe path across a grid as well as Bucket Ball in which the team had to transport a ball without it touching the ball or the ball touching the ground!
All these activities help to improve their teamwork, communication/listening skills, problem solving, building trust as well as giving them confidence through achievement.
