The Pass It On Reporters have been getting to grips with the audio editing software Audacity in their latest workshop. Audacity allows its users to edit together different audio files, removing any mistakes, lowering and raising the volume, adding jingles and much more. It is a free software, for both PCs and Macs…so worth checking out if you are in to creating podcasts and audio reports!

None of the reporters had used the software before the workshop but they have all took to it like ducks to water! They have been using it to edit together their reports on Safer Internet Day that they recorded last week. One reporter said “we have learned how to edit audio and add music” and another said “I learned how to use the software to delete mistakes”.
