SHW26: Let’s Connect!

14-20 September 2026

At a time when the world is at our fingertips, why are so many people feeling detached from both each other and themselves?

As we increasingly prioritise our ‘networks’ and ‘contacts’, many of us find it harder to make the meaningful connections that truly enrich our lives. That’s why, for Sexual Health Week 2026: Let’s Connect, we’re championing human connection across platonic, romantic and sexual relationships.

Throughout the week, we’ll explore how to build and sustain authentic relationships in an era of ghosting and endless scrolling. We’ll examine what it means to feel connected to our own bodies, emotions and needs. And we’ll discuss the importance of community in tackling stigma, abuse and health inequalities.

Join us as we share expert insights, lived experiences and practical advice to help people strengthen communication in their relationships, reconnect with themselves to support their wellbeing, and foster a greater sense of belonging in an increasingly individualised world.
