Greenbank College collaborates with various external stakeholders -agencies, partners and employers- to ensure that we deliver high-quality careers education, life skills and employability to our learners:
- Liverpool City Region Careers Hub support our Careers & Employability Team with training, workshop and participation in Community of Practice groups with other training providers and colleges of further education so that we can share best practices and build partnerships collectively.
- Careers & Enterprise Company provides access to training and career-related resources, as well as access to the Compass+ platform. This enables us to measure and evaluate our careers provision against the Gatsby Benchmarks (Compass evaluations) and conduct ongoing quality assurance.
- Employers: This is an extremely important and valued partnership. Our network of employers provide work experience opportunities, industry visits, career insight talks and workshops.
- Intern to Work oversees the entire supported internship programme across both host employers and provides job coaches to support interns to undertake meaningful work placements and secure employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
- University Hospitals of Liverpool is one of our supported internship host employers and has provided job rotations for our interns in Alder Hey Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, the Royal Hospital and Aintree Hospital.
- Liverpool City Council is one of our supported internship host employers and has provided job rotations for our interns across numerous departments and services, including: Housing, Culture, Tourism, Maintenance, Legal, Sport & Leisure, and Primary Education.
- Local SEN teams across the five Liverpool City Region boroughs are vital to ensuring that up-to-date information (EHCPs) is provided and reviewed to support the transition of our learners in and out of Greenbank.
- Adult Services are a key partnership when it comes to identifying wider support for our learners outside of college. We work with individual social workers and support workers to support learner’s transition out of Greenbank and ensure that they can access a range of services from personal care, day provisions, community participation and volunteering.
- Matrix is a national quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering. It helps providers to improve their services by benchmarking against best practice and it offers accreditation to those that meet the full standard. We are proud to be Matrix accredited and we continue to audit our practices with Matrix periodically to ensure the quality of our IAG service.
