Since 2011, Greenbank College has held an annual Hair Show to showcase the skills of its Hairdressing students. The Hair Show is not only an opportunity to celebrate the progression of the students, but it is also a chance for them show us their stunning hair creations, styling and imaginative themes.
We are incredibly proud to partner with the Palm House Sefton Park every year for our hair shows. The Palm House is a stunning venue where architecture and nature combine in a spectacular way, and it is the perfect backdrop for the Hair Show.
Hair Show 2022
This year the theme was “Prom Night”. Our students created some stunning hair designs based around their interpretation of what a formal hair-do would look like for an evening event. Students took their inspiration from a variety of sources: Cinderella, Gone with the Wind and the Wizard of Oz.
Hair Show 2023
This year the theme was “Eurovision” to coincide with Liverpool hosting the event on behalf of Ukraine. Our students created some stunning hair designs based around their interpretation of the culture and traditions of different participating Eurovision countries, such as Sweden, Norway and Cyprus.
