Greenbank Sports Academy

Greenbank Sports Academy is open to the public and offers a range of services on a fee paying basis. Learners receive a discount for the Gym and Timeout Café Bar.

Time Out Café Bar

Time Out Café Bar is a spacious fully licensed, family friendly café which is available for private parties, individual meals or just a drink.

Opening times are 8.30am – 10.30pm daily and food is served until 9.00pm Monday to Saturday. There is also a limited menu on a Sunday.

Learners are eligible for discount on selected meals and drinks.

Time Out Café Bar in partnership with the College Catering Department also holds regular ‘Come Dine With Us’ Evenings on the first Thursday of the month during term times.

During 2012 to 2013 these will take place on Thursdays between 5.00pm and 9.00pm on:
14 June 2012, 5 July 2012, 4 October 2012, 1 November 2012, 6 December 2012, 7 February 2013, 7 March 2013, 2 May 2013, 6 June 2013 and 4 July 2013.

Gym

A fully equipped fitness gym which includes a range of cardio-vascular as well as specialised lifting equipment eg a  wheelchair accessible chest press, vertical row and tricep press and specialist disability equipment such as Moto med and standing frame is available on site.

The gym is open from 8.30am – 9.00pm Monday to Saturday and 8.30am – 8.00pm on a Sunday.

The salon is open to the public and offers cutting, colouring, perming and styling.

The Doorstop Café

Greenbank College operate The Doorstop Café at Merseyside Youth Association’s ‘The Door’ building on Hanover Street.

The café is open Monday – Friday from 8.30am – 4pm and offers a range of food and drinks including, breakfasts, soups, sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, salads, hot/cold drinks and freshly baked cakes.
