The Level 1 IT course will help you to improve your ability to use a range of IT applications and computer skills that are regularly used in an office-based role to produce documents, spreadsheets and presentations. You will also learn about using email and IT security.

Who is the course for?

  • People aged 16 – 18
  • People aged up to 25 who declare a disability and have an EHC Plan

What are the entry requirements?

All prospective students will undertake an initial assessment to ensure they have basic computer knowledge. Students should have gained or be working towards recognised qualifications in ICT, English and Maths at Entry 3.

How will I be assessed?

All units will be internally assessed by course tutors and externally moderated.
