The Greenbank College Hair Show for 22/23 took place on Thursday 29th June 2023 at 1pm at the Palm House Sefton Park.
To coincide with the city of Liverpool hosting Eurovision 2023 on behalf of Ukraine, this year’s hair show theme was “Eurovision” and our amazing hairdressing students took their inspiration from the culture and traditions of different European countries competing in the legendary Eurovision Song Contest.
Among the amazing hair creations were:
Entry 3 Foundation
- Chelsea – representing France with a beautiful coiled braid.
- Evie – representing Italy with a sculptural creation imitating spaghetti and meatballs. Evie went on to win in her category.
Level 1
- Razan – representing Israel with a bridal design featuring beautiful curls.
- Courtney – representing the UK with a design inspired by the film Titanic with cascades of soft romantic curls.
- Abbie – representing the Ukraine with a bridal design featuring the colours of the Ukraine flag amid romantic curls. Abbie went on to win in her category.
Level 2
- Silvia – representing Norway with a sculptural and textured viking warrior creation. She went on to win in her category.
- Adele – representing Spain with a flamenco-inspired design featuring a side bun and red flower applique.
- Leah – representing Sweden with a design inspired by a traditional Swedish crown braid and fresh flower applique.
