Power Football event at Greenbank Sports Academy last week. - Jorge said “I felt exhausted and tired at about 3 am but I pushed through until 6 am. It was worth it because I felt good about myself and raised lots of money for a good cause’.
- Jorge is an inspiration to others who raise awareness of competitive disability sports and also raise money so that more disabled young people can access these activities.
Power Football Pioneers
If you are a powerchair user and you would like to play a fast, furious team games – then the Power Football club at Greenbank Sports Academy is for you. The game is played in specialist electric wheelchairs that allow chair contact as part of the game and Greenbank has been at the forefront of pioneering the design of these chairs and developing the sport nationwide.
