Information for Parents & Guardians

Dear Parent/Carer,

Enrolment for students who have been offered a place for academic year 2025/26 will take place during the summer and dates and details will be sent out in due course. Please ensure that you update us if there are any changes to your contact details.

When your son/daughter enrols, we will give them a Home College Agreement which outlines our standards and expectations to ensure that your child is successful in their studies here at Greenbank.  We are proud to work closely in partnership with our parents/guardians to maintain our vision of your child fulfilling their potential on their study programme and progressing confidently and successfully on to their next steps, whether that be further study or employment.  We therefore ask parents to read, sign and return our Home College Agreement before your child’s enrolment is completed.

We also request that you agree to receive communications from us through ParentMail as this allows us to share important information and dates, as well as contact you regarding the individual progress of your son / daughter.  To sign up to ParentMail please follow the instructions below:

Your child may also be entitled to financial assistance to help with costs such as college meals, transport, materials and equipment required for their course or uniform.  This is means-tested support and you can find qualifying criteria on the information sheet attached to the bursary form which your son / daughter will be given during enrolment.  Please ensure that the form is fully completed and provide recent evidence of your household income and/or benefits before returning it to us.  We are unable to process any financial support without it.

Your son/daughter’s place at college is conditional upon your full support and upon you signing the Home College Agreement and registering on the ParentMail service.  All completed forms need to be returned to us.   Please also make sure that you sign up to ParentMail by this date.
