STYLE AND FORMAT
In accordance with the style guidelines published by the British Dyslexia Association, our website uses:
- a sans serif font (Lato)
- font sizes of 12-14 point for main-body text
- larger inter-letter, inter-word and inter-line spacing
- avoidance of italics, superscript and small capitals
- large headings and bold text for emphasis
- simply worded text avoiding the use of the passive voice.

TRANSCRIPTS & CAPTIONS
- Wherever possible we include captions in all of our videos, and transcripts for uncaptioned videos.
- We try to ensure that any social media publication that includes video or images is accompanied by a descriptive text so that blind, visually impaired, deaf and hard-of-hearing users can still access the content by reading it or hearing it (using screen reader programmes).
