The Level 1 Business & Administration course provides the first step towards a career in administration. You will be introduced to the basic elements that are needed to work and communicate in a business environment and enable learners to work on a range of practical skills in a real working environment.

Who is the course for?
- People aged 16 – 18
- People aged up to 25 who declare a disability and have an EHC Plan
What are the entry requirements?
- Learners are required to have an English and Maths qualification at Entry Level 3 or above.
- The course requires a degree of personal responsibility and the ability to work as part of a team.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed throughout the course as you build a portfolio of work that shows evidence of the skills you have learnt.
What could I progress to?
After you have achieved the Level 1 Business & Administration qualification, you could progress to:
- Level 2 Business and Administration
- Apprenticeship
- Employment
What is a Study Programme?

How much will the course cost?
Courses are free for all students aged 16 – 18 (or up to 25 if you declare a disability and have an Education, Health & Care Plan).
