Our Level 1 Foundation course has been designed to offer the perfect progression route for Entry 3 vocational learners who wish to explore different subjects before opting for a standalone Level 1 vocational course.
Preparation for Adulthood (PfA) is embedded into the Level 1 Foundation curriculum alongside functional skills and vocational tasters as follows:
- Daily living: personal hygiene, helathy eating, looking after yourself and the home
- Employability and enterprise
- English
- Maths
- Community participation
- Termly vocational tasters
Once a learner has completed this course, it is expected that they will progress on to a Level 1 vocational course, the pre-internship programme or the supported internship programme.
