This week we’re shining a light on Dante, who is gaining valuable experience on the college reception desk as part of his internal work placement.
Dante shared: “I wanted to do my work experience on the college reception desk as I am good at communicating with others and multitasking. In the future I’d like to work in an office setting, so this placement is great experience for my CV.” Work Experience is a vital part of preparing students for life after college, helping them build confidence, develop transferable skills, and explore future career paths. On placement, Dante is strengthening his communication, organisation, teamwork and customer service skills. He’s already made internal phone calls, welcomed visitors, issued badges and forms, and is continuing to grow in confidence each day
