Adaptive Coaching Taster – 21st November 2024
Year 3 sports students from Liverpool Hope University, Level 2 sports students from Greenbank College and our amazing sports development team from Greenbank Sports Academy. Today was the first visit of many to celebrate a new partnership between Liverpool Hope University, Greenbank Sports Academy and Greenbank College to enable university students to learn about adaptive coaching techniques for disability sports and, ultimately, become more disability confident. It was also a great chance for our Level 2 sports learners to interact with university students to raise their future aspirations and to share their own knowledge of a range of different disability sports. The Hope Uni students had a blast trying out the power football chairs, and learning how to play boccia and polybat sports.
